This collection of cases is designed to enable advanced students and exam candidates to practice and perfect their case handling skills at the exam level. At the same time, the book serves as a medium for reviewing exam-relevant material, with a particular focus on criminal law issues that are frequently encountered in exams. The case collection is the ideal complement to the criminal law textbooks of the three co-authors on the General and Special Part of Criminal Law, which have also been published by Springer. Numerous references to these textbooks facilitate the optimal combination of a case-based and a systematic learning method. The authors are criminal law instructors with many years of experience as examiners in the First State Examination in Law, and are therefore familiar with the knowledge requirements of the state exam.
