This volume surveys children aged five to ten about their experiences with family upbringing. It particularly focuses on the power dynamics between generations through a qualitative study. The findings reveal that children sometimes act in accordance with their roles and accept their parents' authority in the educational process, while at other times they develop resistant practices and engage constructively with the intergenerational power relationship. The study contributes to childhood research by centering the perspective of children and recognizing them as capable and existing beings.
