Discussions about the weather can be summarized succinctly: Weather phenomena, as a significant environmental factor, have intrigued humans since the time when the physical principle of cause and effect, such as no water vapor means no clouds, was still completely unknown to them. Early humans saw the celestial phenomena as the actions of the gods; meteorological and astronomical events in the sky were for them expressions of divine favor or displeasure. Therefore, they were eager to observe and interpret these signs. It is not surprising that in early cultures, astrology and meteorology were intertwined in what can be called "astro-meteorology."
