Approximately ten to twenty percent of Germans seek spiritual meaning outside of established religions. Especially in times of crisis, an increasing number of citizens yearn for support from supernatural forces, light beings, and predictions. However, experts warn of significant scams: over 20 billion euros are generated in Germany from esotericism, with a rising trend. Yet, angels, witches, and miracle healers rarely deliver the desired healing, promised salvation, or sought-after enlightenment. Instead, there is a risk that these yearning customers may fall into psychological dependence. This book provides an overview of some esoteric terms and offerings.
