Product details
On September 11, 2001, two planes hijacked by terrorists crashed into the Twin Towers of the World Trade Center. The two tallest skyscrapers in New York collapsed, and nearly 3,000 people lost their lives. The American government decided to rebuild the city's landmark at the same site, but the project was delayed due to the economic crisis. By the tenth anniversary, at least the memorial was to be completed, with all four new towers, including a new train station, finished by 2014. This book provides an overview of the former World Trade Center, the new constructions, and their architects.
