Every year, there are around sixty incidents worldwide where sharks attack humans. Four of these attacks usually end fatally for the person involved. This understandably causes fear among international beachgoers in the world's oceans. However, it is often forgotten that humans are encroaching on the animals' habitats and contributing to the sharks' aggression with their behavior. This book provides an overview of sharks and their danger to humans.
