Product details

Please note that this title mainly consists of content that is freely available on the internet. Kitesurfing, or kiting, is a relatively young, trendy, but also not entirely safe water sport. It developed in America around the mid-90s from windsurfing, kite flying, and snowkiting. In kiting, the athlete stands on a board, similar to a small surfboard or wakeboard, and is pulled across the water by a kite, which is a type of steerable parachute. In addition to strength and endurance, kitesurfing also trains concentration, balance, coordination, and reaction. Currently, there are about half a million people worldwide who practice this sport, and the number is growing daily. In recent years, competitions have also been held: nationally, the Kitesurf Trophy in Northern Germany and internationally.
