"Español Actual" is a modern Spanish textbook designed for adult education, suitable for use in community colleges, language and interpreting schools, as well as high schools and universities. It consists of two textbooks (1 and 2 for beginners and advanced learners), each accompanied by exercise books, solution manuals, and language CDs. The primary learning objective is to develop communication skills. The texts reflect everyday life in Spain and address general, interesting topics. Many lessons are dedicated to the culture and history of Spain and Latin America. Special attention is given to words with multiple meanings. Proverbs, anecdotes, and jokes enliven and enrich the lessons. The numerous illustrations, cartoons, and picture stories in textbook 2 are a methodologically essential component of the work, closely connected to the texts.
