Future applications in power engineering require materials that can withstand high temperatures and neutron doses. Oxide dispersion hardened (ODS) steel alloys are promising materials for these applications. This thesis deals with the characterization of ferritic ODS alloys. In particular, the texture development after different thermo-mechanical treatments is investigated by modern electron microscopic analysis methods.
