First Choice is a communicative English teaching resource for adult education, designed to guide learners to level B1 of the Common European Framework of Reference (CEF) across three volumes. The course presents language in realistic contexts and provides relevant language for everyday life and work through interesting and motivating tasks. First Choice takes into account the latest methodological developments and consistently implements the CEF guidelines: Action-oriented approach: The core element of each unit consists of tasks that can only be solved through communication in partner work or within the group. Consistent promotion of communicative competence: First Choice presents language in everyday situations and offers natural speaking opportunities from the very beginning. The linguistic scenarios are integrated into the lessons in a lively manner.
