Product details
Dieter Meier, heir and conceptual artist, founded the electronic synth group Yello in the late 1970s together with Boris Blank. However, it was not until the late 1980s that they achieved their greatest success with the international hit "The Race," which was heard worldwide in commercials and sports programs. By combining samples and beats with Meier's deep and distinctive voice, Yello became an expert in blending elegance and eclecticism. The 1989 album "Flag" features the hit "The Race" as well as several experiments with Afro-Cuban rhythms, such as "Tied Up." This is the first vinyl reissue since 1989 and comes with an insert.
