Flex and Flory offers a package for every grade level that includes a workbook, diagnostic booklet, and audio CD. This distinguishes the series from traditional textbooks that require a separate textbook alongside the workbook. Flex and Flory is a clearly structured yet open-ended teaching resource. This means that many double pages operate on a consistent principle with shared and guided work phases in the classroom, where content and structures are developed (left page), and "self-study pages" that can be largely worked on independently by the children. All tasks are assigned to one of three levels of difficulty. The task instructions are visualized with child-friendly pictograms. Illustrated word banks for each unit reliably represent the new vocabulary and are suitable for reference. Photo children encourage kids to become active themselves.
