Behind the train station, in the rundown Hotel Florida, people meet whose every thought and action is dominated by the idea of how they can finally escape this miserable place. Blinded by the apparent glamour on the other side of the station, they dream of big money and a better life. Yet, their dream has long since become an obsession. No matter how hard they try and struggle, no matter what risks they are willing to take, their failure seems predetermined and inevitable.
