The passenger air traffic market of the CIS experienced high growth and development rates during the pre-crisis period. The crisis of 2020-2021 had an extremely negative impact on the market and became the largest structural crisis in the history of civil aviation development. The monograph contains the results of a study on the airports in Nur-Sultan and Almaty (Kazakhstan), Bishkek (Kyrgyzstan), Dushanbe (Tajikistan), and Baku (Azerbaijan). Based on the analysis of passenger traffic, route networks, and dependence on internal and external economic factors, the author proposed models for the development of the aforementioned airports after the crisis.
