This book presents studies of quantitative clinical nursing research, including assessments of specific nursing quality and self-care deficits, descriptive, correlational, and comparative studies, and the effectiveness of specific nursing interventions. It covers experimental design, the quality of standardized measurement instruments, and validity and reliability studies. All contributions are master's or doctoral theses supervised by Prof. Dr. G. Evers, one of the leading clinical nursing scientists and researchers in Europe. The studies can be considered exemplary for addressing certain questions, allowing teachers to rely less on English-language literature.
