ForTiS is a forensic therapy program for young offenders who have committed adolescent-specific offenses, particularly in the areas of property, violence, or traffic. The intervention program is modular in structure and includes motivational, informational, and practical elements. It can be conducted on an outpatient basis as well as in a residential setting and is suitable for both group and individual formats. The individual modules of ForTiS encourage critical reflection on past misconduct and promote conscious, consequence-oriented thinking, enabling participants to recognize the effects of their behavior. In the therapeutic process, participants are guided to make a conscious decision to want to change their behavior in the future. The goal is to reduce the likelihood of further offenses. The manual provides user-oriented guidance on the implementation of the individual modules.
