Equal opportunities, quotas for women in management and supervisory boards, diversity management, and gender mainstreaming are highly relevant topics. But how can gender justice actually be achieved in organizations? Knowledge about gender, power structures in organizations, and other dimensions of inequality is still not widespread in the training and continuing education of coaches and supervisors. Daniela Rastetter and Christiane Jüngling fill this gap. Through case studies, they demonstrate concisely and focused how the various dimensions interact in micro-political fields of action and influence chances of success. Consultants need micro-political competence and gender competence to realize greater gender justice in consulting and supervision. The micro-political perspective emphasizes that the different interests and goals of individuals and groups can be interconnected.
