In addition to construction recommendations, selected technical problems and their corresponding solutions are described in the areas of weather protection performance, durability of bitumen and plastic seals, homogeneous bonding, positional stability, roof anchoring, and door threshold sealing. The author addresses questions of air tightness in roof elements and sandwich profiles, as well as errors in handling sealing layers, and provides valuable tips for damage assessment and localization, as well as for the formulation of expert reports.
