My grandmother loved me very much; she cared for me tenderly. Frédéric Pajak, born in 1955 near Paris, is French and Swiss. He is an author, artist, and publisher. His books, for which he has received numerous awards, including the Prix Médicis in 2014 and the Swiss Literature Prize in 2015, combine drawing and text. In "Manifeste incertain 1," Pajak explores the life and work of the philosopher Walter Benjamin. "Manifeste incertain 1" is the first volume of an overall nine-part work, which is being published for the first time in German translation.
