There is hardly a wardrobe where they cannot be found: blue jeans! They accompany us for many years, and when they eventually wear out or no longer fit and need to be sorted out, there is often a bit of heartache involved. However, the designer Angelika Wolk-Gerche believes that the "pants for all occasions" are far too precious for the donation bag, and she has let her creativity run wild to give old jeans a new lease on life.
