The relationship of humans to Christ is not only a principle of faith but also an often unconscious life force. From this force arises a changed image of humanity, a new self-experience, and future therapeutic horizons. Thus, the Christian tradition can become an individual reality in our time - at the intersection of body and soul, of consciousness and being. Illnesses of the soul and body raise the question of healing spiritual power. Anthropology, psychology, and therapy often reach a limit in this context. Approaches to Christian anthropology, which have received little attention so far, prove to be viable in this regard. The relationship between body and soul, between death and immortality, appears in a new light. Christ becomes the Lord not only of human fate but also of the elements, thus serving as a force for healing and development.
