The meeting between Rudolf Steiner and Ita Wegman during Pentecost in 1907 in Munich, in the context of the Munich Congress and the separation of Steiner's esoteric school from that of Annie Besant, was of pioneering significance for the development of Anthroposophy in the 20th century. Peter Selg's study traces the path of the encounter and collaboration between Rudolf Steiner and Ita Wegman, focusing on selected thematic aspects and in relation to the founding of Rudolf Steiner's university in Dornach. It describes the spiritual circumstances surrounding the groundbreaking meeting of Steiner and Wegman at the Munich Pentecost Congress in 1907, as well as the realization of their early collaboration in the last years of Rudolf Steiner's life, following the fire at the first Goetheanum. The reflection on Munich also played a role in Rudolf Steiner's famous writings.
