Wolfgang Volkmer has been living in the German States of America for months and is still searching for a man with whom he can be happy together. While at work, he meets the handsome hotel employee Caleb, who is also gay and faces daily hostility as a Black man in a country ruled by the Nazis. Just as Wolfgang and Caleb begin to grow closer, Niels, the boy Wolfgang secretly loved during their school days, appears from their homeland. Niels is now a loyal civil servant who follows everything the party dictates, especially the ruthless extermination of gays and other elements deemed hostile to the state. The reunion with his former school friend becomes a test for Wolfgang. But it also becomes dangerous for Caleb, as dangerous things are happening in the hotel where he works.
