The seniors of the model project "Old Helps Young" by the JAZz association have been collaborating with local secondary schools since 1998. Their work aims to promote the professional readiness of students in grades 8 and 9, as well as to support them in their career choices and job applications. To this end, training modules and a variety of work materials have been developed and tested. The handbook presents these teaching components on the topics of career orientation, application processes, and strengthening social skills, along with the corresponding materials, and aims to inspire imitation and contribute to the further development of individual project ideas. The handbook is a practically tested treasure trove of materials, ideas, and suggestions, serving as a working basis for other senior initiatives in this field, as well as for social workers and teachers preparing secondary school students for entering the workforce.
