For more than fifty years, Paul-Werner Scheele has been engaged in ecumenical work. This commitment runs like a common thread through his roles as a vicar, religious educator, university professor, and bishop. In the volume "Further Unification," which was created as an interview book in conversations with Rainer Dvorak, the long-time ecumenical officer of the Diocese of Würzburg, Bishop Scheele not only provides a rich presentation of his experiences and insights but also encourages future generations on the sometimes challenging path to unity in faith.
