The "all-healing" was the name given to mistletoe in the language of the Celts, who saw it as a gift from heaven, and in the poetry of Virgil, it serves as a guide through the realm of the dead. In modern anthroposophical medicine, the healing powers of mistletoe have been preserved in its pharmaceutical processing into "Iscador" for the treatment of cancer. With a commented selection of texts from poetry and tradition, Hartmut Ramm makes the significance of mistletoe visible from various temporal and cultural perspectives. This opens a pathway to the essence of the plant that can bring about healing in the emotional and spiritual realms beyond the medical aspect.
