This textbook presents the often unpopular subject of accounting in a catchy and practical manner, forming the basis for entrepreneurial decisions. A continuous case study introduces all the legal and organizational fundamentals of bookkeeping through systematically structured learning units and further explains advanced topics such as depreciation, provisions, and accruals. Numerous examples, diagrams, account and booking lists illustrate the learning content. Extensive exercises based on practical exam formats support self-assessment and prepare learners for real examination requirements. In collaboration with Buhl Data GmbH, a training version of the WISO Accounting program has been developed specifically for this work, allowing readers to test and reinforce their knowledge on the computer simultaneously.
