Dorthe Petersen investigates in a qualitative reconstructive longitudinal study how interaction processes in classrooms differ between primary and secondary schools, what demands this places on the changing children, and how students and teachers together create specific learning cultures. From the analysis results, a process typology was generated that illustrates the adaptation efforts and construction processes of students during the transition.
