Increasing regulations for combating corruption have significantly expanded the framework of responsibility and liability for companies. This raises the question of which compliance measures companies should invest in to effectively prevent corruption. In this context, Stefanie Opitz analyzes the acceptance of various compliance management systems by employees in the strategic procurement area. Based on thorough literature research, theoretical-conceptual foundations, and a triangulation approach, she demonstrates in two empirical studies which dimensions a compliance management system encompasses, which systems are accepted by employees, and which types of compliance can be derived from this.
