Based on a quantitative survey of approximately 1500 adolescents and young adults from Baden-Württemberg, Sarah Witzke identifies a cautious tendency regarding the intention to use car-sharing vehicles instead of owning a personal car in the future. She demonstrates that owning a personal vehicle is of great importance to this group. Additionally, a linear regression analysis was able to identify key influencing factors concerning the intention to use car-sharing. In particular, the influence of significant others, the perceived availability of car-sharing, and the awareness of the environmental impact of motorized individual transport are therefore crucial.
