This collection of tasks contains questions and exercises that correspond to the structure of the textbook. This allows for quick access not only to the answers to the questions but also to the related study material. In the 11th edition, the old chapter "Tribological Stress and Material Engineering Measures" was removed in line with the textbook. In its place, more than 20 new questions have been added, particularly in the chapters "Plastics" and "Materials Testing," which have been most extensively revised. The task collection includes a new practice exam, with additional ones available in the book. The book enables statements about material treatment and material selection, as well as the evaluation of materials and processes. With the help of the solutions, independent learning assessment is possible.
