Entwicklung eines skalierbaren und verteilten Datenbanksystems

Product details
Jan Kristof Nidzwetzki has coupled an extensible database system with a highly available key-value store in his master's thesis and examined how the advantages of both systems can be combined. Unlike database systems, key-value stores scale very well but offer only very simple operations for query evaluation. The coupling results in a scalable, fault-tolerant system capable of supporting arbitrary update rates and executing complex queries on the stored data.
