Product details
In light of advancing globalization, the question arises regarding the course and design of internationalization processes. Christoph Lütke Schelhowe examines two crucial internal company factors. Based on a recently developed approach in entrepreneurship theory, entrepreneurial orientation is operationalized in a new and more differentiated manner than common conceptualizations. A survey conducted among German companies in the manufacturing sector reveals that entrepreneurial orientation can explain international success, although it has less impact on the dynamics of internationalization. Experience also positively influences success, albeit to a significantly lesser extent. Together, both constructs can explain nearly half of the variance in international success.
