To respond to changes in the environment during the contract term, renegotiations are often necessary. Jirka Gehrt examines contractual arrangements in public-private partnership projects that aim to achieve an appropriate level of flexibility from the client's perspective. Based on theoretical considerations and interviews with experts, he evaluates the contractual rules used in practice and develops proposals for optimization.
