This book examines a previously unknown phenomenon for the first time: highly sensitive leaders. The term "highly sensitive" carries certain connotations and is therefore discussed from a leadership science perspective, taking gender into account. The thematic derivation offers the latest insights from which practical relevance can be derived. In the future, high sensitivity will find its established place in psychology. The study shows that highly sensitive leaders possess unique empathetic abilities and a specific leadership style, which they primarily base on the mood of a situation. They consciously perceive moods physically and act accordingly.
