Product details

Due to the globalization of the economy, the demand for qualified training and further education in the field of international taxation is steadily increasing. Often, the entry into this area is challenging, as various legal norms interact with many questions. The new textbook assumes a basic understanding of general taxation principles. Based on this foundation, it provides a systematic and business-oriented introduction to the highly complex subject of international business taxation. It analyzes both inbound activities (activities from abroad into Germany) and outbound activities (activities from Germany to abroad), thus covering both perspectives for investors. Subsequently, this toolkit is applied to important questions of tax planning, such as transfer pricing and profit reporting, tax burden comparisons of locations, or choice of legal form and distribution structure. A variety of illustrations, examples, and sample calculations enhance the reader's understanding. Special emphasis has also been placed on a systematic, comprehensible, and economically sound presentation. The authors' experience shows that complex regulatory areas can be more easily grasped with graphical support and a solid, organized knowledge foundation than through a mere verbal sequence of detailed information. The concept is based on many years of training events at the University of Bayreuth and the TU Chemnitz, as well as further education for various organizations. The book is aimed at anyone dealing with cross-border tax issues in their studies, exam preparation, and professional practice, and who wishes to delve deeper into this area of law.
