When something is truly important to me, I can't use grand words. That's why, in my previous writing attempts, whether poetry or crime novels, I have tried to maintain a certain distance. This also applies to this novel, as its postulates—individual and economic freedom, the rule of law, the preservation of natural living conditions, and a skeptical interest in modern technology—mean a lot to me. My message is meant to reach the reader as the backdrop of an exciting story, without me annoying them with constant admonitions. The future is not a nightmare for me if the legal framework guarantees the spaces in which people can unleash their performance and creativity without harming each other or the environment. Therefore, the outlook of this novel is ultimately positive—even if doubts still remain. I have particularly enjoyed it.
