Product details
David Beyer demonstrates, based on multiple theoretical foundations, that the design of specific coordination mechanisms at both the company and cluster levels, as well as relational sources at the relationship level, significantly determines the success of a cluster. In this context, cluster management must define and implement concrete measures as a central coordination unit to optimally develop the relational sources. The empirical verification is conducted using structural equation modeling based on the responses from 231 companies organized in German clusters. It shows that a successful cluster represents a competitive advantage for the participating companies.
