Product details

Alexander Hochmeier answers the following questions: What significance do the themes of Open Innovation, Diversity, and Enterprise 2.0, as presented in the literature, have in the current practice of innovation management in companies based in Austria, and how can potential needs for action in the innovation process be made transparent? To begin with, essential terms from the context of innovation are defined and differentiated from one another. The differences between Closed and Open Innovation and the prerequisites for Open Innovation are explained. Following this, selected enablers of the innovation process highlighted and discussed in the literature - Diversity, Enterprise 2.0, and Innovation Intermediaries - are examined in more detail. Finally, the documentary method is used to analyze seven specific case studies (expert interviews).
