Currently, there are no books that comprehensively address the issues of methodology in empirical research. The authors compile knowledge from a wide range of self-conducted projects and insights from the literature in 28 contributions. The contributions are exclusively written by doctoral candidates who are themselves involved in empirical projects, and thus are expressed in the language of practitioners. They reflect the insights gained during their doctoral training and research projects. Through careful review, the editors have incorporated their methodological experience. Each contribution is structured to provide an overview of the respective issue and to offer further literature.
