Product details
This work presents AutoPar, an innovative method for transforming existing software, which determines sequential output patterns and converts them into parallel software architectures. The evaluation demonstrates that AutoPar achieves the same performance as experienced developers. It requires only a few minutes instead of several days of intensive manual work. An empirical study with software developers further shows that AutoPar reveals significantly more parallelization potential in a shorter time than existing parallelization tools.
