This guide introduces project management from the perspective of educators. Ulrich Holzbaur and Monika Bühr present a method for the successful and goal-oriented implementation of projects in higher education. Organizing such projects goes far beyond simply assigning tasks: the preparation, support, and evaluation of student projects require consideration of conditions from the fields of project management and leadership, psychology and management, law, and higher education didactics. When these prerequisites are taken into account and project management is designed accordingly, projects become an efficient method for acquiring competencies.
