The use of the book is largely possible without any mathematical background. The methods and their application with SPSS are clearly explained using practical examples. On the book's website, all datasets, supplementary texts, exercises with their solutions, and additional information are available. The 9th edition of this book is based on IBM SPSS Statistics 24 (Base and Exact Tests). In the course of the new edition, several chapters have been revised. New chapters on statistical procedures have been added, as well as an overview chapter on significance tests: the latter makes it easier for SPSS users to select the appropriate test from the many available in SPSS for their specific tasks.
