Connected thinking is increasingly becoming part of entrepreneurial thinking and action, shaping the leadership of employees and social institutions. This is undoubtedly due to the realization that we have great difficulties in dealing with complex problem situations. Often, the results of our actions do not align with our intentions at all. We encounter unwanted side effects, struggle with unexpected developments, and find ourselves powerless against many questions. Often, new problems arise from our "solutions," we are not successful even with small interventions, or we wish, despite success, that we had not changed anything at all because the damage outweighs the benefits. The successful leaders of tomorrow need new tools for their decision-making, planning, and organization. They accept and take these into account.
