The demand for qualified employees in nursing facilities is already significantly higher than the supply. Due to demographic changes, it is certain that this shortage of skilled workers will continue to intensify in the coming years. Therefore, a major challenge for the personnel management of outpatient and (partially) inpatient elderly care facilities will be to recruit an adequate workforce and retain them in the company over the long term.
