Product details
Ebenezer Howard published his work "Garden Cities of Tomorrow" in 1902. His ideas significantly contributed to giving direction and purpose to the movement for modern urban planning. Six decades after the first edition was released, Julius Posener supplemented this classic of urban planning theory with essays by Lewis Mumford and Frederic J. Osborn, which first appeared in 1945, to engage in a debate about the shape of the city in the late sixties. This new edition extends into the 21st century and includes a foreword by Carl Fingerhuth, expanding upon the 1968 edition.
