The Russian-Jewish Marxist and millionaire Alexander Parvus, trained as an economist and political scientist, had a vision: the overthrow of the Tsar and the establishment of a revolutionary regime in Russia. As a companion of Trotsky, he traveled from Zurich to Turkey, where he amassed immense wealth and political influence through currency and arms trading. In 1914, his moment arrived: on behalf of the German Empire - and with its millions - he manipulated the depreciation of the ruble and, with the help of a perfectly organized network of agents, prepared for Lenin's takeover of power.
