The author Hiroshi Doi is one of the most respected Reiki masters in the world and the founder of Gendai Reiki Hô, a method that combines the best of traditional Reiki with Western Reiki. He has dedicated his existence to the search for the meaning of life and to sharing his teachings with as many people as possible. The book, published in Spanish on the occasion of an international Gendai Reiki Hô meeting, which serves as the basis for this German translation, is the result of extensive research by the author on the life of Usui Sensei and the origins of Reiki. The first part discusses the history of Usui Reiki Ryôhô from its origins in Japan to its global spread, addressing the actual roles and contributions of key figures in Reiki. The second part focuses on the philosophy and techniques of traditional Usui Reiki Ryôhô.
