The question of the historicity of the biblical primeval history, and particularly of the first human couple, is of extraordinary significance for the Christian faith. This concerns fundamental questions of humanity as well as the understanding of the entire Bible, since the New Testament frequently refers to Genesis. In this collection, six authors present theologically grounded studies that demonstrate why it is appropriate to uphold the historicity of the biblical texts. Anything else would have massive implications for our understanding of humanity and God. The clearly written texts are also aimed at non-theologians.
