The goal of pleasure therapy is to sensitize patients to a positive perception. The behavioral therapeutic concept was developed by the author herself and focuses on positive feelings and actions in the therapy. Targeted exercises are presented that aim to engage all five senses. The method can be used in a symptom-unspecific manner, making it suitable for various conditions, such as depression, obsessive-compulsive disorders, or tinnitus. Due to its wide range of applications, the method offers a large pool of creative and flexible exercises. It is described in a clear and practical manner how the exercises can be implemented. Additionally, worksheets (homework) are used to prepare for and follow up on the next session. Supplementary audio files support the patients.
